Job Description

The IASF are looking for multiple Assistant Saddle Fitting Tutor/Assessors to join our growing team of educators.

​

The successful candidates will be confident, personable and approachable with excellent communication skills the ability to perform under pressure.

​

With a clear passion and proven track record in saddle fitting for over 2 years you will working as part of the Education Delivery Team to assist in the provision of high quality, hands-on training to trainee saddle fitters. You will also be helping to assess candidates throughout their practical examinations and providing written and verbal feedback to the Saddle Fitting Tutor.

​

Along with your peers you will be assisting in the delivery and communication of set learning material to a group of 10-14 students while overseeing and managing practical tasks throughout an intensive practical week. You will also be required to coordinate horses, equipment and facilitate the comfort of the students throughout their practical training experience.

​

Practical weeks are booked 12-18 months in advance and you will be requested to work when and where the business requires on a flexible basis. Projected working requirements initially will be three weeks per year (in-house) and ad-hoc remote hours may also be offered with the potential to increase this as the organisation grows.

​

Practical weeks are currently held in Droitwich, West Midlands (however locations can vary) so living within a commutable distance of this would be an advantage, alternatively you will be prepared to travel to the education venue for the duration of the course (5-7 days – accommodation & food allowance provided).
