IASF Fitters Congratulated by the Worshipful Company of Saddlers

Certified saddle fitters of the International Academy of Saddle Fitters were formally congratulated by the Prime Warden and Wardens of the Worshipful Company of Saddlers at the Saddlery Fitting Showcase in London.

At the Saddlery Fitters Presentation held on 7th February 2023 each student was invited onto stage along with Course Director, Lisa Fay to be presented with a letter of congratulation and recognition from the Prime Warden and Wardens of the Worshipful Company after successfully completing their training with the IASF.

The event was part of a larger celebration of the saddlery craft during which many talented saddlers were able to display their work.

This dedicated evening was hosted to congratulate and acknowledge those who had recently completed training in saddlery fitting which included bit, bridle and saddle fitting.

Those in attendance were able to enjoy a spectacular evening of hospitality while taking in the breath taking craftmanship of the saddlery work on display.

This ground breaking event was the first of its kind to recognise candidates from a selection of training providers and to acknowledge the hard work and dedication of each student.

The event also shines additional light onto the importance and priority of correct saddlery fitting for the wellbeing of the horse.

"Professional equine fitting sits at the heart of a healthy equestrian sector and is a key factor in improving the standards of horse and rider welfare and wellbeing"

Lucy Atherton - Prime Warden - Worshipful Company of Saddlers

The IASF would like to thank the Worshipful Company of Saddlers for hosting such an important and prestigious event and we are very grateful for the hard work they are applying to the improvement of standards in the industry.

Very well done to all of our students whom each represent the ethics, vision and mission of the International Academy of Saddle Fitters. We are incredibly proud of each of you and look forward to supporting your progress and development in the years to come.
